Order Online

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: these terms apply to every order placed through this website.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

this restaurant ("we", "us", "our") sells food and drink through this website. These terms apply to every order you place with us here, whether for collection or delivery. By placing an order, you agree to them.

2. Placing an order

Adding items to your basket is not an order. Your order is placed, and a contract between you and us is formed, once you complete checkout and we accept it - we'll show you clearly when that's happened. We may occasionally be unable to accept an order (for example if an item has just sold out, or we're temporarily closed or too busy to take on more orders) - if that happens, any payment authorisation is released and you will not be charged.

3. Pricing

All prices shown include VAT where applicable - the price you see at checkout is the price you pay, with no VAT added afterwards. Delivery fees, where they apply, are shown before you confirm your order.

4. Payment

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Your card is authorised when you place your order, but you are only charged once we accept it - if we're unable to accept your order, the authorisation is released and no payment is taken.

5. Allergens and food information

Allergen information is shown on every item before you add it to your basket, and again on your order confirmation. Please check it carefully, especially if you have a food allergy or intolerance - if you have any doubt or a severe allergy, contact us directly before ordering using the details below. We take care to keep this information accurate and up to date, but food is prepared in a kitchen that handles multiple allergens, so cross-contamination is possible even where an item doesn't list an allergen as an ingredient.

6. Cancellations and refunds

Because we prepare your food fresh to order, it doesn't qualify for the standard 14-day "cooling-off" cancellation right that applies to most online purchases under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 - once we've started preparing your order, it generally can't be cancelled. This doesn't affect your right to a refund or replacement if something is wrong with your order - see "If something's wrong" below. Nothing in these terms affects your other statutory rights as a consumer.

7. Delivery and collection

Depending on what we offer, you can choose to collect your order from us or have it delivered. Estimated ready-by or delivery times shown at checkout are our best estimate, not a guaranteed time - they can be affected by how busy the kitchen is or, for delivery, conditions outside our control (traffic, weather). Where delivery is provided by a third-party courier, some parts of getting your order to you are outside our direct control, but we remain responsible for making sure your order reaches you as agreed.

8. If something's wrong with your order

If your order arrives wrong, incomplete, or not as described, contact us using the details on your order confirmation as soon as possible. We'll put it right - whether that's a replacement, a partial refund, or a full refund, depending on the issue.

9. Age-restricted items

Some items (for example alcohol) are age-restricted. Where this applies, you'll be asked to confirm you meet the minimum age at checkout, and whoever accepts the order in person may ask for ID to confirm your age (for example, Challenge 25) - we can refuse to hand over an age-restricted item if we're not satisfied the recipient is old enough.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't legally be limited or excluded. Beyond that, our liability to you for a problem with your order is limited to the price you paid for it. We're not responsible for indirect or consequential losses that aren't a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in the country where you live.
